Chipmunk

Un Chipmunk T.10 survole la Porte de Brandebourg au début des années 90. Si les vols d'observation cessèrent en 1990 avec la dissolution de BRIXMIS, les avions sont restés à Gatow jusqu'en 1994 à des fins d'entraînement. Le WG486 n'a rejoint le RAF Gatow Station Flight qu'en 1987. Après la dissolution de ce dernier en 1994, il passa ensuite une année à RAF Laarbruch avant de rejoindre finalement le Battle of Britain Memorial Flight en 1995 où il sert toujours d'appareil d'entraînement à l'heure actuelle > LIEN.

Whereas the intelligence flights ended in 1990 with BRIXMIS disbandment, the aircraft remained at Gatow for training purposes until 1994. WG486 moved to RAF Gatow only in 1987. It spent one year at RAF Laarbruch after the closure of Gatow in 1994 and finaly joined the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in 1995 where it still flies nowadays as a training aircraft > LINK.
