Su-17M4

This Su-17M4 of the 730.APIB landing at Neuruppin in September 1990 war armed with a captive (no engine and no fins) Kh-27PS ARM attached to a APU-68UM3 launch rail. Although undistinguishable on this picture, a BA-58 pod with the Vyuga radar emissions receiver and identification system necessary to feed the missile systems with all the data required for a launch, was most probably mounted under the rear fuselage.
