Pembroke

Le Pemboke C1(PR) XL953 en approche à Gatow le 14 mars 1967, à l'issue d'un vol de reconnaissance à l'intérieur d'un couloir aérien de Berlin. Les rideaux des fenêtres de la soute ont été fermés pour contrer d'éventuels regards indiscrets. On peut distinguer sous le ventre de l'avion un carénage non identifié et de part et d'autre de ce dernier, les glissières des portes des deux trappes photo. L'avion était décoré comme les autres machines du RAF Germany Communications Squadron de Wildenrath (redésigné Squadron 60 le 3 février 1969).

Pembroke C1(PR) XL953, cabin window curtains closed as it approaches RAF Gatow at the conclusion of a corridor flight on 14 March 1967. One could distinguish an unidentified fairing underneath the fuselage and the guides of the doors for two camera hatches on both side thereof. The aircraft was decorated like the other Pembrokes of the RAF Germany Communications Squadron based at Wildenrath (redesignated No 60 Squadron on 3 February 1969).
