Le MiG-27K bort nomer 43 du 559.APIB a dû se poser dans l'herbe avec la roulette de nez en position rentrée, victime des effets dévastateurs de son propre canon. L'incident s'est produit lors d'un déploiement à Louninets (RSS de Biélorussie) en 1986. L'avion a pu être réparé sur place et est rentré à Finsterwalde. Le véhicule 4x4 à l'avant-plan était un LuAZ 967.

MiG-27K bort number 43 of the 559.APIB landed with its nosewheel retracted, victim to the devastating effects of its own cannon. The incident occured during a deployment at Luninets (Belarussian SSR) in 1986. The aircraft was repaired and flew back to Finsterwalde. The 4x4 vehicle in the foreground is a LuAZ 967.
