Ce Mi-8 photographié à Brandis au début des années quatre-vingt dix était un ancien Mi-8VzPU du 485.OVP BU en cours de reconversion en Mi-8T. On peut en effet distinguer les anciens points d'attache des antennes tubulaires au-dessus de la poutre de queue ainsi que ce qui était vraisemblablement un point d'attache pour une antenne montée quand l'hélicoptère était posé au sol, situé au-dessus du second hublot. L'examen du document original permet de distinguer qu'il s'agirait de l'ancien n°25 orange (c/n 0429).

This Mi-8 photographed at Brandis in the early 1990s was a former Mi-8VzPU of 485.OVP BU, undergoing conversion to Mi-8T. The former attachment points for the U-shaped tubular antennas can be seen above the tail boom. Also, note what was probably a bracket for an antenna mounted when the helicopter was on the ground, located above the second window. Examination of the original document reveals that this helicopter was apparently the former number 25 orange (c/n 0429).
