La mitrailleuse YakB-12,7 de ce Mi-24K avait été démontée. Le capteur optique Iris était logé dans la tourelle sous le côté droit du nez. Plus en arrière, on peut voir derrière le code tactique, la fenêtre rectangulaire verticale de la caméra A-87PV de 1300 mm. Un posemètre SU-5 était pointé vers l'extérieur derrière le premier hublot plus haut. Les extrémités des ailes des Mi-24K étaient dépourvues de tout équipement. Cet appareil du 9.OVE BU de Neuruppin a été photographié à Oranienburg en juin 1993, où il avait été redéployé en compagnie des machines restantes de cette unité avant leur rapatriement en Russie.

The YakB-12,7 machine gun of this Mi-24K had been removed. The optical sensor of the Iris system was located inside the turret under the right side of the nose. The rectangular window of the 1300 mm A-87PV camera can be seen behind the side number. A SU-5 exposure meter was mounted behind the first porthole above. No equipment was mounted at the wing endplates of the Mi-24K models. This helicopter of the 9.OVE BU from Neuruppin was photographed at Oranienburg in June 1993. The remaining helicopters from that unit had been redeployed there before their departure from Germany.
