Le N2501 Gabriel n°42 au roulage à Tegel en mai 1980. Le gros carénage en forme de goutte d'eau sur le flanc droit abritait la turbine de l'APU. Contrairement aux deux radomes ventraux et aux antennes UHF sous les saumons d'ailes, cette caractéristique n'était pas propre au Gabriel, car le N2501 "SNB" avait le même équipement. On remarquera que les poutres de queue avaient été peintes en gris lorsque cette photo fut prise.

N2501 Gabriel n°42 taxiing at Tegel in May 1980. The turbine of the APU was located inside the big teardrop-shaped fairing on the right side of the fuselage. Contrary to the two ventral radomes and the UHF antennas under the wing tips, that characteristic was not unique to the Gabriel, because the N2501 "SNB" had the same equipment. Note that the tail booms had been painted in grey when this picture was taken.
