This U-2 belonged to the 23.GvNBAP, a unit that ended the war at Beryersdorf in May 1945. Although the insignia on the nose of the aircraft leaves no doubt as to the regiment's mission, this U-2, lacking bomb racks, was apparently used for utility purposes.
