On remarquera sur cette photographie d'un MiG-21PFM du 730.APIB à Neuruppin qu'un rail APU-68UM prévu pour l'emport d'une roquette S-24 ou d'un missile Kh-66, était attaché au pylone alaire standard BD3-60-21. L'antenne de communication VHF de la radio R-802V était montée sur le dos du fuselage derrière le carénage abritant de l'avionique et un réservoir dorsal de 80 litres. La trappe de visite rectangulaire de couleur plus foncée sur le fuselage située à l'aplomb de l'articulation des volets concernait un équipement électrique relatif au système SPS.

Note on this photograph of a MiG-21PFM of the 730.APIB in Neuruppin that an APU-68UM launch rail, intended for carrying an S-24 rocket or a Kh-66 missile, was attached to the BD3-60-21 standard wing pylon. The VHF communication antenna of the R-802V radio was mounted on the fuselage spine behind the fairing of a 80 liter dorsal fuel tank and avionics. The rectangular inspection hatch of darker color located on the fuselage at the level of the flaps hinges was hiding an electrical equipment related to the SPS system.
