Un MiG-17F du 730.IBAP vu au début des années soixante-dix à Neuruppin alors que le régiment s'était en partie converti sur MiG-21. La l'objet allongé sur le capot ouvert était l'antenne du radio télémètre SRD-1M. La face interne des réservoirs supplémentaires était peinte en noir.

A MiG-17F of the 730.IBAP seen in the early seventies at Neuruppin when the regiment already was flying MiG-21s. The long object on the open hood was the antenna of the SRD-1M radio rangefinder. The inner face of the drop tanks was painted black.
