L'Il-10 n°0302 était en ligne avec le 571.ChAP. Ce régiment de la 8.VA affectée au 4è Front Ukrainien, était subordonné à la 224.ChAD du 8.ChAK. Le 571.ChAP se trouvait basé à Makowaldau en Silésie (aujourd'hui Maków) en avril 1945, tandis que le QG du 8è Corps d'aviation d'assaut était installé à Gleiwitz (Gliwice). Le document d'archive donné en lien permet de voir la situation des unités du 8.ChAK composé des 224.ChAD (565., 571. et 996.ChAP) et 227.ChAD (208., 525. et 637.ChAP) en avril 1945. On peut également y noter la livraison d'Il-10 provenant de Kouïbichev au début du mois (42 machines livrées - début des opérations le 15 avril) ( > Lien - page 73).
