On reconnaissait un MiG-21PF/PFS/PFM adapté à l'emport d'un pod canon GP-9 au petit point d'emport supplémentaire ajouté sous son ventre (gros-plans d'un MiG-21SPS-K est-allemand). L'avion muni d'un conteneur GP-9 photographié à l'atterrissage à Jangiztobe au Kazakhstan était un MiG-21PFS du 134.APIB.
