20 juin 1980. Les quatre premiers Su-17UM3 du 20.GvAPIB sont arrivés. Ils sont accueillis par le chef d'état-major Tsybayev (à droite) et le commandant du régiment, le colonel P. E. Gourov (second depuis la droite). Ce dernier trouvera la mort à bord de l'avion n°85 visible en arrière-plan un an plus tard (voir la photo en dessous).

June 20, 1980. The first four Su-17UM3 of the 20.GvAPIB have landed. They are greeted by Chief of Staff Tsybayev (on the right) and the regimental commander, Colonel P. Ye. Gurov (second from the right). The latter was killed a year later in the crash of aircraft n°85 visible in the background (see the photo below).
