Décollage d'un Antonov An-12A du 226.OSAP, unité qui regroupait l'ensemble des moyens de transport de la 16.VA. Nichée en plein milieu des bois, cette base offrait malgré tout une bonne vue de sa piste, car un incendie avait par le passé créé une clairière précisément dans cette zone. De plus, le franchissement de la clôture pour se rapprocher de la piste était devenu normal pour quelques photographes à Sperenberg.

An Antonov An-12A of the 226.OSAP on take off from Sperenberg. That unit had all the transport aircraft of the 16.VA on strength. Located in the woods, the Sperenberg runway was however exposed due to a forest fire in that area, which left a clearing precisely along the runway. Moreover, to cross the fence in order to take pictures closer to the runway had become an habit for some photographers visiting that base.
