A 497.BAP Su-24 "Fencer-C" of the 24-27 series armed with a FAB-50 bomb.
One can see under the nose the fairing of the Chaïka daylight optical sight. The antennas
of the Filin-N system were located underneath that fairing. That was a radar detection and
classification system, that was necessary to fire Kh-28 ARM missiles.
It equipped the early Su-24 versions.
Individual machines in a unit had different equipment to cover various radar bands.
More antennas of the system were situated at the tip of the nose radome.
