The dielectric panel at the tip of the nose was housing the receiving antenna of the SPS-141M/142 ECM suite.
A Klen-PM (maple) laser range-finder and target illuminator was located behind the window under the nose.
The pitot tube was on the right side of the nose. The probe on the left side was carrying Pion-NM aerials of the radio-navigation system.
